If you purchase an event in the discovery+ app on your Sky device, you can’t watch on your Sky set-top-box. To buy and watch an event on your Sky set-top-box, follow the steps below.

Things to know

• If you buy an event on your Sky box, you can only watch the event on your Sky box. How to watch varies by device. For more info, see Ways to watch below.
• To stream the event in multiple rooms, you need to buy the event on each Sky box unless you have a Sky Q with multiroom account.
• TNT Sports Box Office events are on channels 490 and 494.

You can purchase events using your Sky Q, Sky Glass, or Sky Stream box.

How to purchase an event

1. Find an event to watch on your Sky box (channels 490 and 494) or sky.com/boxoffice/tnt.
2. Select the event and follow the steps to complete your purchase.
3. Allow a few minutes for your purchase to appear on your Sky box.
4. When the live event begins, go to channels 490 or 494 or press Box Office on your Sky remote. (Purchased events show as ‘Rented’.)

Note  UFC and boxing events will appear on your Sky bill.

Ways to watch

Sky Q

If you buy an event on a Sky Q box, you can stream the event on your main Sky Q box. To watch on multiple Sky boxes, you’ll need to buy the event on each Sky box.

If you buy an event on Sky Q and have a multiroom account, you can stream the event on your Sky Q box and Sky Q Mini.

Sky Glass and Sky Stream

If you buy an event on your Sky box, you can only watch the event on that Sky box. To watch on multiple Sky boxes, you’ll need to buy the event on each Sky box.

Recording events

If you have Sky+ enabled and you purchase the event via your Sky remote, you can record the event. If you purchase the event by phone or web, you can’t record the event.

Order cancellations

To avoid a charge for an event (watched or unwatched), you can cancel your order. How you cancel depends on how you order the event.

• Ordered via phone or web: You can call 0800 876 6980 to cancel your order up until 5 hours before the event begins.
• Ordered via Sky box: You can cancel your order up on your Sky box until 30 minutes before the event begins.

You can purchase events using your TiVo, Virgin TV V6 powered by TiVo, Virgin TV 360, or a Stream box.

How to purchase an event

1. On your set-top box, select Home > On Demand > Live Events.
2. Press the red button.
3. Choose a pay-per-view event and follow the steps to complete your purchase.
4. When the live event begins, select Home > On Demand (if needed) > Live Events > Event Bookings.

Things to know

• If you buy a TNT Sports Box Office event on your EE TV box, you can only watch the event on your EE TV boxes.
• You’ll need fibre broadband to order and watch via your EE TV box.
• TNT Sports Box Office events are on channels 494 and 495.

You can purchase events using your EE TV box (not via phone or web). Here’s how:

1. On your EE TV box, find an event to watch on the EE TV Player or channels 494 and 495.
2. Select the event and follow the on-screen steps to complete your purchase.
3. When the event starts, sign in to EE TV to stream the event on your EE TV box.

Note  If you have two EE TV boxes, you can stream the event on both devices.

If you buy an event via discovery+, you can only watch the event on discoveryplus.com or the discovery+ app on the following smart TV devices*:

3. Select Learn More and then Buy Now.
4. Do you have a discovery+ account?
   • No: Follow the prompts to create a discovery+ account.
   • Yes: Sign in to your discovery+ account.
5. Follow the steps to complete the purchase.
6. When the live sports event begins, sign in to discovery+ on your TV device.
7. Then select Pay Per View to find and stream the event!

• If you buy an event on Prime Video, you can only watch the event on the Prime Video app.
• To stream the event in multiple rooms, you need to buy the event on each additional device.

How to purchase an event

1. Go to amazon.co.uk/gp/video/storefront or open the Prime Video app.
2. On the home page, find the 'Watch without a subscription - Live and upcoming' section.
3. Choose a pay-per-view event.
4. Follow the steps to complete the purchase.

6. Select My Stuff > Watchlist to find and stream the event!
