BT TV and discovery+ offer

If you have a BT TV Entertainment or Big Entertainment package, you get access to the discovery+ Basic plan which includes our on-demand catalogue and the following live channels: Animal Planet, Discovery, Discovery History, Discovery Science, DMAX, Food Network, HGTV, ID, Quest, Quest Red, TLC, and Turbo.

BT TV subscribers with a BT TV Sport, Big Sport or VIP BT TV package get access to the discovery+ Premium plan which includes everything in the Basic plan plus TNT Sports and Eurosport.

Note  If you already pay for a discovery+ subscription and want to avoid paying for two subscriptions, cancel your discovery+ subscription before you activate discovery+ via BT.

To start streaming discovery+, follow the steps below to activate discovery+ and sign in.

Activate discovery+

First, you need to activate discovery+. Here's how:

1. Go to bt.com/sport/discovery-plus.
2. Choose Activate.
3. Log in to your BT account.
4. Do one of the following:
   • New discovery+ subscriber: Complete the account form and then choose Continue.
   • Former discovery+ subscriber: Choose Sign In (upper right) and enter your discovery+ email and password.

Now, you just need to sign in on any discovery+ supported device. To sign in on your TV, follow the steps below.

Sign in to discovery+

Here's how to sign in on your BT TV Box Pro or BT TV Box Mini:

1. Go to the app store on your TV and install the discovery+ app.
2. Open the discovery+ app and choose Sign In.
3. Stay on the screen with the 6-digit code while you grab your phone or computer.
4. Do one of the following:
   • Open your phone's camera and scan the QR code on your TV.
     iPhone or Android QR steps.
   • On your phone or computer, go to: discoveryplus.com/link.
5. Sign in to your discovery+ account.
6. Enter the 6-digit code from your TV and choose Activate.

Go back to your TV and you're ready to stream discovery+.

Your access to discovery+ will continue for as long as you have a qualifying BT TV subscription or until you're notified that the discovery+ offer is no longer available.
