I’m unable to buy discovery+ subscription via my preferred Debit / Credit Card. What should I do?
Ideally, you should be able to purchase a discovery+ subscription with the payment method of your choice without any issues.
However, in case you experience a payment failure, it may be on account of new banking regulations.
In such cases, please feel free to try out any other eligible payment method available on the discovery+ app, such as another Debit / Credit Card, UPI payments, or In-App Purchases (i.e. Google Play Store / App Store / Amazon).
Note: Starting October 1, 2021, owing to RBI-mandated changes in banking regulations, customers might potentially face some issues with their payment for discovery+ subscriptions.
We’re working very closely with various payment ecosystem partners, who are in the process of implementing the mandated changes, to ensure a seamless and compliant payment process.
